Brandon “Eugene” Owens is a musician, singer-songwriter, and producer from Los Angeles, best known for his work on Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy Award-winning album “To Pimp a Butterfly(2015)”, which was certified Platinum in June, 2017. We caught up with Eugene at the Music Tastes Good festival and talked about cannabis and it’s positive effects on music and his fellow collaborators. How he’d name a strain in honor of his brother, musician and keyboardist, Isaiah ‘Ikey’ Owens.
