Jetty Earns EnviroClean Certification in California and New York

Since getting our start in California in 2013, we've had a pretty ambitious goal: make the best damn cannabis products we can, and help set the standard for clean cannabis along the way.

That goal has shaped the products we make, including our solventless live rosin, and our decision to bring independent organizations in to examine our work. With each certification, we've given you another way to see what goes into the Jetty name.

Now, there's a new one to get to know. Jetty is EnviroClean certified across all our product lines in California and New York.

According to Envirocann, we're the first cannabis manufacturer in New York to earn the certification. Back home in California, EnviroClean joins OCal and ECCO, making our operation triple certified clean.

A few milestones along the way

If you've been with us for a while, you've seen this take shape over the years. Our California OCal-certified Solventless collection meets the state's comparable-to-organic standards for how cannabis is grown and handled. ECCO brought another way to check our work: independent testing that goes beyond California’s requirements, screening for many additional chemicals and applying stricter limits for many pesticide residues. The program also includes ongoing audits and publicly available results for the products it certifies.

EnviroClean continues that work with a close look at manufacturing. It connects the ingredients going into a product with the practices used to make it, and the responsibility a manufacturer has to the people and places involved.

Together, those credentials make our California operation triple certified clean. Their product coverage differs, with EnviroClean extending across all our product lines.

That's a big part of what leading in clean cannabis means to us: keep improving the work, and keep opening it up to scrutiny. We're proud of how far we've come.

Meet EnviroClean

EnviroClean is a manufacturing certification from Envirocann. Its requirements start with raw materials from licensed producers that meet the program's testing standards. Manufacturers must use approved ingredients, document how products are made, keep supporting lab reports, and trace ingredients from their source through the finished product.

The checks continue after products reach the market, with certified products subject to random testing by a licensed third-party lab. The program also sets requirements for energy use, water management, packaging, and fair treatment of employees.

Quite a bit goes into that name. For you, it offers a way to understand the standards behind the product you're choosing. For us, it gives our clean cannabis commitment another set of requirements to live up to.

A California commitment, carried to New York

Our full New York lineup is EnviroClean certified, too. Being the state's first cannabis manufacturer to earn it, according to Envirocann, is a milestone we're especially proud of. We hope plenty of others follow.

We’ve got our sights set on Colorado, too, where we’re working toward EnviroClean certification. A little more altitude, the same commitment to clean cannabis.
