The 2025 Jetty Extracts Shelter Project Application
Welcome. You’re in the right place to apply for The Shelter Project, Jetty Extracts’ community program providing free cannabis to eligible cancer patients in California, Colorado, and New York.
The Shelter Project exists to make compassionate cannabis access possible for those facing serious illness and financial hardship. Please review the information below before completing the application.
Who Qualifies
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
Have an active cancer diagnosis
Hold a valid ID from California, Colorado, or New York
Possess a current state medical marijuana card
California applicants must hold a Medical Marijuana Identification Card (MMICP)
Demonstrate financial need (income verification required)
Enrollment Periods
Open enrollment takes place twice each year:
May 1 – June 30
November 1 – December 31
Applications are reviewed in June and December, and accepted patients are notified by email.

Approved patients receive up to 4 grams of cannabis concentrates per month through our incredibly compassionate partner dispensaries:
